Teaching
This section brings together projects, materials and classroom experiences that reflect how I understand technical education: learning by doing, working with real problems, and using technology with judgement rather than treating it as a mere collection of tools.
Approach
I see vocational IT as a space where technical clarity, professional usefulness and intellectual curiosity should coexist. I want students to learn by using technology with purpose: deploying, documenting, collaborating, making useful mistakes, and telling what matters from what does not.
Working with systems, code, data or networks requires technique, but also judgement, the ability to read the context, and a measure of intellectual responsibility. That combination is what I try to carry into both my materials and classroom projects.
Examples that explain how I teach
Rather than accumulate materials, I want to show a few pieces that reveal the kind of teaching I try to practise: technical, applied, connected to real problems and open to less obvious combinations when they contribute something.
Relativistic traveller
A deliberately hybrid example: JavaScript for client-side web development and, at the same time, a way of explaining physics with web tools. I like it because it neatly sums up my habit of mixing subject matter, curiosity and code without apologising for the combination—or hiding the fact that I enjoy those intersections.
Aire Madrid
A classroom exercise on consuming APIs and asynchronous JavaScript. Its value as a teaching project lies in refusing to stop at theory: it uses real calls, real data, and real problems of presentation and asynchronous flow—which is where the interesting part begins, along with the useful stumbles.
AppRA
Although it also began life as a technical prototype, I include it here because of its direct relationship with assessment in vocational education. It is still evolving, but already points towards a line of work I care about: using AI to solve specific teaching frictions, not simply to impress anyone or pad out grandiose speeches.
Sustainability Applied to the Productive System
An open teaching project for the Sustainability Applied to the Productive System module. It organises content, activities, assignments, a glossary and assessment around the learning outcomes, with attention to regulatory frameworks as well as their environmental, social and technological implications.
I value it as an example of living course material: it grows as the year progresses, preserves its classroom context, and combines explanation, sources, exercises and critical reading without reducing sustainability to a collection of slogans.
